Firstly, there was Project DIGITS, a $3,000 personal AI supercomputer designed for AI researchers, data scientists, and students. It's powered by the new GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, delivering 1 petaflop of AI performance, which is powerful enough to run ChatGPT-sized models on a regular power outlet. This device is intended to bring powerful AI capabilities to individuals, democratizing access to AI development tools.

NVIDIA also unveiled Cosmos, a platform for building "physical AI" for robotics and self-driving cars, which Jensen Huang refers to as "the ChatGPT moment for robotics". German Bionics Exoskeleton 

The Apogee Ultra is a new robotic exoskeleton it claims is the “world’s most powerful.” It offers up to 80 pounds of dynamic lift assistance. That means a payload of 70 pounds feels more like nine to 11 pounds to the lifter’s lower back.

Smart Glasses for Macular Degeneration

Soliddd is developing smart glasses specifically designed for people with macular degeneration that project multiple images to undamaged areas of the retina, creating a 3D image that simulates normal vision

Best Wearable

Halliday Smart Glasses: These glasses feature an "invisible display" integrated into the frame, which provides a field of view similar to a 3.5-inch screen. They also include AI-powered features such as real-time translation, a teleprompter text, and turn-by-turn navigation. The smart glasses feature proactive AI assistance and a near-eye display. They are expected to be available in Q1, with a price between $400 and $500.

Nvidia Robotics  

Nvidia’s Isaac GROOT System will enable robot training, testing, and simulation. It’s also expanding into robotics software with Mega, an Omniverse Blueprint designed for robotic fleet management.

Roborock Saros Z70

This robot vacuum-mop hybrid also has a robotic arm that can pick up and move objects in a practical example of how consumer home cleaning robots are becoming more autonomous.

Samsung Ballie Robot 

After several years of being shown at CES, Samsung's home robot, Ballie, is set to launch this year as personal robots for the home become a reality. The Ballieis an AI-powered home companion designed to move autonomously around the home and act as a personal assistant, connecting to and interacting with a user's smart appliances. Ballie is also designed to learn and evolve over time, providing personalized experiences based on a user's habits and preferences.

Sony Honda Mobility Afeela 1 EV

Sony, in partnership with Honda, unveiled the Afeela EV, a concept car that showcases advancements in electric vehicle technology and AI-powered in-car entertainment and even holographic projection on the dashboard and windscreen. Preorders are open starting at $89,900. 

BMW's In-Car Display

BMW is revamping its in-car user interface with a widget-based system that can be customized, including on the car’s windshield via projections. This showcases the trend toward more interactive and customizable in-car experiences.

Land Aircraft Carrier

Xpeng Aero HT unveiled the Land Aircraft Carrier, a modular flying car that combines an electric minivan with a detachable, foldable eVTOL aircraft. The vehicle is designed to allow users to drive to a takeoff location, detach the eVTOL with a single command, and then fly, after which it can reconnect with the mothership. Xpeng plans to begin mass production this year with first deliveries in 2026, and the vehicle has already received its type certification.

Rictor’s Skyrider X1

Described as equal parts moped, quadcopter, and fantasy, this device represents a "terrifying vision of the future". It highlights the innovative but potentially unnerving directions in personal transportation but it's still unclear the relatively untested company can actually pull off this ambitious concept.

Delta x Uber x Joby

Delta Air Lines has established an exclusive multi-year partnership with Uber, allowing SkyMiles members to earn miles on eligible Uber rides and Eats orders in the US. It’s also partnering with Joby Aviation, a flying taxi company, to offer future transportation from home to the airport. The partnerships are intended to create a more seamless travel experience and offer more choices to customers in getting to their destinations.

Nvidia Cosmos

Nvidia's Cosmos is a "world foundation model" that understands the physical world. Developers can use Omniverse to create 3D scenarios, which are translated into photorealistic scenarios with Cosmos to help robots learn. Nvidia is working to create digital twins of factories in an industrial metaverse. Kion, automated warehouse solutions and Accenture global leader in professional services are using these physical AI tools for industrial visualization and software-defined industry.

Google's AI for Physical Simulation

Google is forming a new team within Google DeepMind, led by Tim Brooks, to create AI models that simulate the physical world. This team will focus on developing massive generative models and building upon existing work from Google's Gemini, Veo, and Genie teams. Their work will focus on creating "world models" that can simulate environments and interactions, with the goal of achieving AGI. The new team will develop real-time interactive tools based on these models, with applications including interactive media, simulations, and robotics training.

Sony XR Head-Mounted Display 

The Sony XR Head-Mounted Display SRH-S1 is a high-quality device with 4K per eye resolution designed for interaction with 3D objects. It features the Snapdragon® XR2+ Gen 2 Platform and enables mixed reality creation using video see-through technology. The headset also includes a flip-up mechanism for easily transitioning between virtual and physical spaces.

Captain NeMo 

Nvidia's NeMo is a platform of virtualized workers that can be deployed across companies to perform specific tasks. These virtual workers are designed to automate various functions within a business environment, operating much like human employees but in a digital capacity. The technology is based on Nvidia's Llama Nemotron Language Foundation Models, which includes models spanning from PCs and edge devices to large data centers. NeMo is open source, allowing companies to customize and fine-tune the AI for their unique needs and data. By providing these virtualized workers, Nvidia is aiming to offer scalable and adaptable AI solutions for a wide range of business applications.

LG's FURION

LG's FURION AI agent is a highly personalized AI assistant for individual users and their homes. This agent is intended to proactively handle tasks by understanding the context of a user's environment and habits, aiming to make interactions with AI feel more human. FURION can perform a variety of tasks, such as adjusting temperature and lighting, and can also provide useful suggestions like recommending an umbrella when leaving the house or a coffee stop if it detects a missing coffee tumbler. This demonstrates a shift towards AI that not only responds to direct commands, but also anticipates and fulfills needs based on learned behavior and environmental cues.

• CaiqueTech PI SpeedGun: This is a modular baseball radar gun that plugs directly into a phone via the USB-C port.

• RadioShack's Resurrection: The once major retail chain, is being revived as a consumer electronics brand by Unicomer Group

• Electric Salt Spoon: Japanese company Kirin unveiled a "clever salt spoon" that uses electrical zaps to trick your tongue into tasting salt without adding sodium to food
