Samsung is doubling down on its digital transformation partnership with Toyota, expanding beyond the 1,250 dealerships already modernized across 40 countries. The tech giant has deployed 23,000 Smart Signage displays in Toyota showrooms across Europe, the Middle East, and CIS regions, marking one of Samsung's largest commercial display projects to date.
Samsung just landed one of its biggest enterprise wins yet. The Korean tech giant is expanding its partnership with Toyota to bring smart signage solutions to additional dealerships worldwide, building on the massive digital transformation of 1,250 locations across 40 countries they completed earlier this year.
The numbers tell the story of Samsung's enterprise ambitions. They've already installed approximately 23,000 Smart Signage displays across Toyota dealerships in Europe, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. That's not just impressive scale - it's one of Samsung's most comprehensive commercial signage deployments ever.
"The trend of digitalizing car dealerships is accelerating globally, and digital signage is playing a key role in that shift," Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Business at Samsung Electronics, told reporters. "Through our partnership with Toyota Motor, we're proud to deliver innovative solutions that amplify the car-buying process for customers worldwide."
The timing couldn't be better. Car buyers today bounce between online research and physical showrooms, creating a fragmented experience that traditional dealerships struggle to unify. Samsung's displays are installed across every touchpoint - reception areas, consultation booths, vehicle display zones, and customer lounges - creating what Toyota calls a "seamless and connected customer journey."
At the heart of the system is Samsung's QMC Series, featuring 4K UHD displays ranging from 43 to 98 inches. These aren't your typical retail screens. They pack non-glare panels for bright showroom environments, uniform bezels for clean multi-display setups, and EPEAT Silver environmental certification. Customers can browse vehicle models, view specifications, and build custom configurations right on the touchscreens.
"Bringing Samsung's digital signage into our dealerships has added real value at every point of the customer journey," said Dirk Christiaens, Business Transformation and Brand Experience Manager at Toyota Motor Europe. "There are multiple stages to the car-buying journey, and we must communicate the right information at the right time to deliver a great customer experience."
